@juiceme | Morning :) | 10:21 |
---|---|---|
@juiceme | Last night played a bit with getting wpa_supplicant working in ubiboot maintanance console but ran into some dificulties. | 10:22 |
@juiceme | even as the same thing works when run on Harmattan... it seems I have trouble initializing the wlan interface | 10:23 |
@juiceme | what I did, is I modprobed wl12xx_spi, wl12xx_sdio, wl12xx, and I had wl1271-fw.bin in the /lib/firmware. wlan0 interface was created OK but wpa_supplicant complained on not being able to find the wlan0 interface name from /sys/...something... (too bad I did not take the log from it... have to do that again) | 10:35 |
@juiceme | ahh now I did some cross-checking, and in deed it complains on both Harmattan and ubiboot that "Could not open file /sys/class/net/wlan0/phy80211/name: No such file or directory" | 12:05 |
@juiceme | so that was not the fatal thingy then... | 12:05 |
@juiceme | what it fails on ubiboot console is "Could not set interface wlan0 flags (UP): Cannot assign requested address" | 12:05 |
@juiceme | on Harmattan it goes on twiddling the interface bits... | 12:06 |
